From the Artist
My artistic upbringing gave me the inspiration to do art. I loved art my whole life. Since I was a young girl, the rituals in Catholicism and the atmosphere of the Cleveland Art Museum instilled a profound sense of awe and peace within. My mother was a devout Catholic, and my father was born into Christian Science and then read and studied metaphysics on his own. I have since witnessed healing's, and other profound experiences with different groups of Lightworkers.
I go by my intuition and guidance to do my art. I am guided by a series of steps. The steps are visions and thoughts that I receive. The visions or thoughts come at anytime, but often as I awaken. My art is sacred to me. Because of the importance and nature of what I do, I try to constantly be aware and open to receive that which is pertinent.
I use the medium that most appropriately conveys the experience of the work. I may prefer to use all paint. For a certain texture I may use shells, wax, string, beads, etc. and do a collage. Art enthusiasts often see different animals and beings in my paintings that allow for individualized and unique interpretation.
My mother took classes in sculpture, oil paintings, a famous artist course (mail correspondence from Conn.) and art history at the museum. She entered her paintings in shows. The counsel of my mother and the wisdom of both of my parents in life carry the most weight in my ability.
